- The Maximum number of players/ teams for each category is 32.
- Format of the tournament is subject to change depending on the number of entries.
- A minimum of 16 players/pairs is needed in each category for that event to be held.
Tournament Format:
- Knockout basis
- Best of 3 games, Rally points system to 21 per set.
- 2 minutes warm-up.
- 1-minute break at the 11 points interval, 2 minutes break between sets.
- Coaching is permitted between sets and intervals.
- Umpiring and line calls to be done by the players till the finals. If multiple disputes occur, please inform the officials.
- Participants must sign in 10 minutes before the start of the event.

Additional Terms
- Tournament desk and line judges may be provided. The tournament desk will have the FINAL decision
- A maximum of 2 feathered shuttlecocks will be provided for each GAME (A game comprises the best of 3 sets).
- Although COVID restrictions have been reduced, kindly ensure that you are in good health when participating in the tournament.
- In the event that the tournament is cancelled due to government restrictions, we will refund all entry fees in full.
Terms & Conditions :
Players hereby indemnify and serve the Host or any of its officials from all eventualities arising from being at the premises, no matter the cause. The undersigned also realizes that any physical activity involves the risk of serious illness, permanent disability, death or other loses due to inactive or negligence of players and releases the Host and its officials from any or all claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever while participating in this tournament.
Players hereby allow permission to the Host to publish pictures/videos of them on their website and media.
Disclosure: The Host and its organizers reserve the right to change the tournament format without prior notice.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS :
- ** Singles Matches (Men & Women) are scheduled to be played from 9 am on 18 June 2022.
- ** Doubles Matches (Men, Women and Mixed) are scheduled from 1 pm on 18 June 2022.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - TIMINGS AND DAYS MAY CHANGE, DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS, CANCELLATION OF ANY CATEGORY, etc.
Players should be available to play on both days, June 18th & 19th.
- **All games before the Semi-Finals and Finals will be played at BATTS ATHLETIC, 134 KENNEDY ROAD SOUTH, BRAMPTON, on June 18th.
- **Semi-Finals and Finals will be held at Save Max Sports Centre in Brampton from 9 am on 19 June 2022.
- **For participants in Doubles matches, please use the name of a single partner to register. Mention the second partner’s name in the registration form. The payment is $60 for a Doubles pair.
